As expected, Lori Loughlin surrendered to police yesterday in Los Angeles in connection with the college admissions scam officials have dubbed “Operation Varsity Blues.” She was taken ultimately released on $1 million bond. Initially, the judge was going to pull her passport, but he's letting her travel to Canada where she's currently shooting. She might not have much work coming her way these days since the Hallmark Channel has their eyes on the situation. They're probably not making any drastic moves just yet, considering she's one of their most active stars. As we told you yesterday, Loughlin and her designer husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters into USC as recruits for the school's rowing team, even though neither participated in the sport. They’re among 50 people – including Felicity Huffman – also charged in the scandal. Source: Variety

We told you before that Jose Canseco accused Alex Rodriguez of cheating on his fiancée Jennifer Lopez with his ex-wife Jessica Canseco (you follow?). Well, not according to the woman herself. Jessica has taken to Twitter to debunk the cheating claims. First, she says she hasn’t seen A-Rod in over five years. She added, “I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. Last time I saw Alex he was with Torrie [Wilson], and I brought my boyfriend over for dinner. We are just friends my god.” She also took the opportunity to fire some shots back at her ex, referencing the time last month when he tweeted about going out to meet Bigfoot and aliens.  She wrote, “Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! He can keep playing with his Alien friends.”

We’ve kept you up to date on Meghan Markle’s relationship, or lack thereof, with her estranged father and sister. In the past, both Thomas and Samantha Markle have expressed hopes that they will have the chance to reconnect with Meghan once she gives birth in the spring. Well, now a source is telling Daily Mail that Meghan is on the same page. According to the insider, Meghan is ready to turn over a new leaf, even after all the times her family has admittedly sold her Royal status out to the press. Meghan has apparently been telling her friends that she “understands the pressure of intense media scrutiny” that her family is under – but she does hope that they could use their platforms to “make a difference rather than criticize her” in the future. So, in hopes that the baby could help her mend things with her family, she’s planning on reaching out to both Samantha and Thomas after she gives birth and invite them to meet the baby! At the same time, Meghan is still feeling “baffled” by her family’s outrage about her not keeping in touch. Even before she was a Royal, she was apparently too busy with her acting career. At that time, the insider says her family was supportive… not so much nowadays.

Stormi Webster almost had another name. According to her mother, Kylie Jenner, Stormi wasn’t the first choice. The new billionaire recently revealed that she had three choices in mind when it came to naming her and Travis Scott’s baby girl. While she didn’t share the others because she might want to use them one day, she did give up one. Kylie revealed, “I wanted to name her Rose. I don’t know why. I really like that name.” Stormi was actually her third choice. As for why the baby ended up being named Stormi, she said, “I felt like she chose her own name.” How, we have no idea.

While Lori Loughlin is answering for her involvement in the college bribing scandal scene, what has her daughter Olivia been up to? According to TMZ, Olivia Jade has been spending spring break in the Bahamas with the daughter of USC chairman Rick Caruso on the family's yacht. However, once news broke of the charges, word is that Olivia decided to return home. No word on her sister, Isabella Rose. Celebrities have been throwing in their two cents over the situation. "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel tweeted, "But wait, how do the kids not know they got in on a crew scholarship? If you ask your kid to stand in front of a crew boat, aren’t they curious? I’m just confused all around." Lena Dunham tweeted, "All the people involved in this college scam should have gathered their money and started a small elite college where Lori Loughlin teaches a class on smiling."

Now that Kim Kardashian has tackled prison reform, she has her sights set on ending the death penalty in California. She is on-board with Governor Gavin Newsom’s plan to suspend the practice. According to Page Six, the way she sees it, “Racial bias and unfairness run deep throughout the justice system, but especially when it comes to the death penalty.” She went on to say, “We should not be okay with the risk that an innocent person could be executed. I hope we can turn toward better solutions that focus more on healing victims of trauma and prioritizing fairness and justice.”

Is Kate Middleton fashion forward or fashion faux pas? People.com shows that Kate was photographed wearing a purple Gucci blouse as she visited the Henry Fawcett Children’s Centre on Tuesday morning. But eagle-eyed fashionistas noticed that she might have been wearing the shirt backwards. Kate had the shirt buttoned in the front, with a big bow ties around the front of the collar. As some people pointed out, retailers showcase the shirt with the buttons in the back (bow still in front). Upon closer inspection, the cuffs on her sleeves look different than the retail photos, meaning Kate may have actually worn the top backwards.

"Five Feet Apart" hits theaters tomorrow, but the star of the film, Cole Sprouse, took his family to the premiere so they could get a first look. The reaction he got was unexpected. Cole wrote on Instagram, "To make my brother and father cry in a room full of young women and business professionals is something I’ll smile about for the rest of my life." Dylan defended himself and wrote, "I swear I’m tough and didn’t cry in the theater and if anyone saw me do that they were being deceived. All of the performances in this are amazing and you all should see it soon so we can **not** cry together. Happy I got a chance to cheese with Cole on this special occasion." Don't downplay the emotions, buddy - the girls love it.

Lady Gaga is talking about her pregnancy...yes, you heard me right. Apparently, her fans were in a tizzy over her recent tweet; "Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6." After many messages from her fans, she wrote, “Naw, just eatin’ good…kidding, it’s my next album.” Phew, I know celebs like unusual baby names but LG6 just seems like it would have been way too out there.

Luke Perry's burial location is not as listed on his death certificate. The death certificate lists a funeral home in Tennessee as his final resting place, but that's reportedly not the case. It's just that the family is trying to keep the location of his burial private. You can read more at aceshowbiz.com. In more Luke Perry news,  there will be an upcoming documentary called "Luke Perry: In His Own Words." One of the things he talks about is his role as Dylan McKay in "90210" and how he showed up to his audition smelling like gasoline with tar all over him, according to OK! Magazine. The special will air this Sunday, March 17, at 9 p.m.  on REELZ.

Felicity Huffman‘s husband William H. Macy has not been charged in the college bribing scandal, and it may all be because a witness claims he didn't really know much about it. A source told RadarOnline.com, “He didn’t know the details, but he knew she was trying to do something. He wasn’t fully aware of what she was planning.” The source added, “Her children didn’t know what was going on, and now it’s breaking up the family.”

As for Lori Loughlin's scam, was this years in the making? Buzzfeed uncovered an episode of "Full House," from season six called, "Be True To Your Pre-School." In the episode, Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse are trying to get the twins into an elite preschool. In the end, despite lying, they do get in. I know, spoiler alert, right? See how it all played out at buzzfeed.com.
