“Empire” star Jussie Smollett needs to keep those lawyers on retainer a little longer. According to TMZ, the city of Chicago is suing him for the $130,000 that was spent on his investigation. When the State’s Attorney dropped the criminal case that involved 16 felony counts against Jussie, the city sent his team a letter asking for the money. They didn't pay up, and now that it’s been seven days since the request, they are free to file a civil lawsuit against him. On top of that, the city can actually ask for three times the actual cost, which works out to be  $390,000. To win the case, Chicago has to prove that Jussie faked the alleged attack.

"Jersey Shore" star Snooki isn’t afraid to  take on internet trolls.  When people on Instagram criticized her for pushing her kids,  who are four and six years old, around Disney in strollers, Snooki wrote, “They walk! But in large crowds I prefer they sit their a***s down. Saves me the stress of not losing my offspring.”

Congratulations are in order for Gregg Leakes. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star (and husband of NeNe Leakes) recently completed six months of chemotherapy. He was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer last May.

Congratulations are also in order for Gordon Ramsey. He and his wife, Tana, recently welcomed their fifth child, a boy named Oscar James Ramsey.

“Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” star Lori Allen broke her wrist. She fell at her store, Bridals by Lori, after she tripped on the train of a gown while filming the TLC show. At this point, we know that her right wrist is broken, but as to whether she damaged anything else, we don't know just yet.

Amazon honcho Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie have finalized their divorce, and boy is she making out. MacKenzie tweeted part of the terms of their split, revealing that she has given him  75% of their shared Amazon stock, which is a 16-percent stake in the company. But, MacKenzie’s remaining four-percent is worth around $35-billion, making her the fourth richest woman in the world. As for Jeff, he tweeted about his ex-wife, “I’m grateful for [MacKenzie’s] support and for her kindness in this process and am very much looking forward to our new relationship as friends and co-parents. In all our work together, MacKenzie’s abilities have been on full display. She has been an extraordinary partner, ally and mother.”  Either he really means it and they did end things amicably, or she's got something on him.

Hilary Duff may have been comfortable enough to share the video of her giving birth to her daughter, Banks, during a water birth, but that's about as close as she'll let fans get to her daughter. According to RadarOnline, Hilary and baby daddy, Matt Koma, are planning to step up security at their house after Matt was surprised by an intruder on March 25.  According to sources, the couple has hired a risk assessment team, and they'll be installing cameras all around their property, hiring round-the-clock guards, and building a “safe room” in their mansion.  What's all this going to cost? From what we hear, about $645,000, but the couple doesn't care as long as their family is safe.

Sophie Turner knows that costar Kit Harington made more money than her on "Game of Thrones," and she's actually come to his defense over it it.  Sophie, who plays Sansa Stark, spoke with Harper’s Bazaar UK and said, “Kit got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline. And for the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots, and I didn’t have that many.” In the meantime, Sophie has bigger things to worry about, like her wedding to Joe Jonas. She previously told Entertainment Tonight that Maisie Williams, her co-star and BFF, is going to be the maid of honor, "one of two" at least.

Hilaria Baldwin said that she’s “most likely experiencing a miscarriage.” The 35-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her and Alec Baldwin’s fifth child together, took to Instagram to share her news. She wrote, “I have always been so open with you all about my family, fitness, pregnancies…and I don’t want to keep this from you, just because it isn’t as positive and shiny as the rest. I think it’s important to show the truth…because my job is to help people by being real and open.” She wants to do her part to take away the stigma of miscarriage.

"Glee" star Lea Michele has been announced as the new star of "The Little Mermaid — An Immersive Live-to-Film Concert Experience” happening May 17 and 18 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the movie. But when the official Disney Princesses Instagram account posted a side-by-side of Ariel and Lea Michele, one person wasn't happy about the casting news. Lindsay Lohan wrote, “Huh?” Thing is, Lindsay had been hoping to get that role. As we told you before, she was putting it out there on social media that she would love to star as Ariel and wished for Meryl Streep to join her as Ursula. Plus, being a former Disney kid, Lindsay probably thought she had a good shot at landing the role.  Rounding out the new cast cast will be Ken Page as Sebastian, Peter Gallagher as King Triton, Leo Gallo as Prince Eric, Harvey Fierstein as Ursula, and not Lindsay Lohan.  Maybe they can find her a smaller role, like as Scuttle the seagull or the dinglehopper (aka the fork).

Khloe Kardashian has deleted her controversial Flat Tummy Shakes post, two weeks after she was blasted by "The Good Place" star Jameela Jamil. And believe me, Jameela noticed. She tweeted, “Oh look. Khloe deleted her diet shake post… There is hope after all…” Jameela had come down hard on Khloe over the shakes, as she has with Khloe's sister, Kim, in the past for promoting diet lollipops.

Betsy Johnson is having open-heart surgery. Speaking to WWD, the 76-year-old infamous designer said her surgery will be about four- to six-hour hours. She was inspired to share the news after Mick Jagger shared the news about his surgery. Betsy, who has also survived breast cancer, said she's had three “baby seizures — you know, the fall down, go to the hospital, go home, everything’s fine,” which eventually led to this surgery. Her mother died from a heart procedure 45 years ago, but Betsy has confidence going in, what with all the latest testing and technology compared to back then. And, if it's her time, she said, “If anything goes whoops, I am very, very happy to have lived a wonderful life — full of love and support. I’ve had a great lucky life just filled with the best — family, friends, work, everything.”

Evan Peters says he won’t be returning for the new season of "American Horror Story." This is quite a surprise since he's been on all eight seasons so far. He told Extra, “No, I’m going to sit a season out. It’s just exhausting. It’s really mentally draining, and you don’t want to go to those places ever in your life. And so you have to go there for the scenes, and it ends up integrating it somehow into your life. You’re in traffic and you find yourself screaming and you’re like, ‘What the hell? This isn’t who I am.'” Could this decision also have something to do with his breakup from his fellow AHS co-star and now ex-fiance, Emma Roberts?

Sandra Oh is not coming back to "Grey’s Anatomy." Sandra, 47, who starred on the show as Dr. Cristina Yang for 10 seasons (2005-2014), told Extra at the "Killing Eve" season 2 Hollywood premiere on Monday, “Creatively, you have moved on and while I know, and I deeply appreciate it, because I can feel it from the fans how much they love Cristina and that the show also still keeps Cristina alive, for me, [Killing Eve] is my home now. This is where I am. I am Eve and that’s where I plan to stay as long as the show will have me. And that’s really where I want to be.” BBC America is running a marathon on season one this weekend, if you want to catch up and get your sort-of Christina fix.  She doesn't play a doctor on the show, but you can pretend.
