Ellen DeGeneres waited a long time before she addressed the issues of a toxic work environment on set, and when she did respond, it was a bit on the weak side. Now, a video from 2013 has surfaced showing Ellen DeGeneres joking about not wanting to pay her staff for working overtime. She had said to Richard Wilkins from Australia Today she wanted “everybody to work really, really hard… but not too hard that I have to pay them overtime.” Read more with OK! Magazine. On top of that, “Everybody Loves Raymond” star Brad Garrett tweeted that the issues “come from the top” and that he knows “more than one” person who has been “treated horribly by her.” In fact, he calls it "common knowledge."

TMZ reports that Tamar Braxton's upcoming reality show “Get Ya Life!” will still be released, but the network says it's honoring her request and severing ties with her going forward following her recent suicide attempt. According to WE TV, "Tamar Braxton has been an important part of our network family for more than a decade. As she focuses on her health and recovery at what is clearly a difficult and personal time, we will work with her representatives to honor her request to end all future work for the network." That said, the show will air as-is, without any changes or further editing based on Tamar's complaints. The show, which was supposed to air July 30, was postponed because of Tamar’s suicide attempt. It will now premiere September 10. Sources close to Tamar told us she was upset over her portrayal on the first episode of "Get Ya Life!" and felt she was lied to by producers. In the meantime, the producers say they wish her the best. In some positive news for Tamar, she and her boyfriend, David Adefeso, are engaged. After she thanked him for being her rock and angel on earth and for saving her life, she let the happy news slip. Congratulations!

“Big Brother” is back on August 5th with a 2-hour premiere, and season 22 is a big one – it marks the CBS show’s 20th anniversary. The all-star cast won’t be revealed until they move into the house on August 5th.

Midnight Sun is the newest Twilight book told from the perspective of Edward Cullen, comes out August 4, according to Dlisted. Author Stephenie Meyer is already in talks for a movie deal, but she has said not to expect Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to reprise their roles. Could be because they’re too busy and both never want anything to do with the franchise again, or maybe they’re too old to play high school kids. Probably the first.

Rumor has it Clare Crawley wants out of filming season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” according to Life & Style. The source said the reason why Clare wants out after only 12 days of filming is because she’s already fallen for one of the contestants, Dale Moss. This season of the show has already been cursed from the beginning. First, the show had to be pushed off because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ABC show had to push back the start date. Then, the show got a ton of backlash when the names of the contestants were first revealed because even though Clare is the oldest Bachelorette in the show’s history, most of the contestants are in their mid-twenties. Claire, who joined “The Bachelorette” for the sole purpose of finding love, had already called out contestants who she felt were in it for the wrong reasons, like money and fame. She had tweeted, “If you are doing interviews and creating Cameo accounts before you are even on my season … you are in it for the wrong reasons … #dontwasteyourtime.” Clare missed out on love in “The Bachelor'' season 18, when Juan Pablo didn’t give her the final rose, and she didn’t do too well on two seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Hopefully, she finds it this time. Harry and Meghan Markle may have their titles of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex taken away when the book “Finding Freedom” comes out. First off, Prince Harry asked at an international summit in March to be addressed as simply “Harry,” preferring no mention of any title of Prince or Duke. Queen Elizabeth is well within her right to take away their Duke and Duchess of Sussex title. If that happens, Harry will go by the royal family’s official last name of Mountbatten-Windsor. The last name is a combination of Queen Elizabeth II’s Mountbatten and King George V’s Windsor. Their son, Archie, has the last name Mountbatten-Windsor since he doesn’t have an official Royal title. Read more with OK! Magazine. In more Harry and Meghan news, a source dished that in 2015, Meghan’s PR team had arranged paparazzi shots to make Markle more famous in the UK. Around a year before she met her now-husband, Prince Harry, a source claimed her then-agent arranged shots of her walking into London restaurants. A source told the Sun “Meghan knew the photographer was going to be at the Kensington restaurant to take her photos of her arrival. It was all pre-arranged.” Was it her plan to bag a prince all along? Now, it looks like she’s got Harry doing it too. OK! Magazine dished that the couple’s publicist provided a royal journalist in Los Angeles with information about drones flying over their estate. They also claim Harry and Meghan have hired a PR firm to generate positive news about them.

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande were supposed to put on a surprise show last week, but it was canceled at the last minute. The two had planned to make an unannounced appearance at Voss Events’ Drive ’N Drag show Friday at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, but it was canceled due to worries the audience wouldn’t abide by social distancing. A source told Page Six, “Gaga really wanted to do it, but the Rose Bowl pulled the plug because of what happened in the Hamptons,” referring to the controversial Chainsmokers show last month, adding, “They feared that once the crowd realized who it was, they would run toward the stage, not social distance, and they feared they’d lose their license.”
