Selena Gomez’s relationship with Justin Bieber wasn’t exactly a healthy one and now she’s opening up about it. During an interview with NPR, Selena was asked if her split with Justin was one of the “harder parts” of her life, and she noted, “I’ve found the strength in it. It’s dangerous to stay in a victim mentality. And I’m not being disrespectful, I do feel I was a victim to certain abuse.” When asked if she experienced “emotional abuse,” she admitted, “Yes, and I think that it’s something that — I had to find a way to understand it as an adult. And I had to understand the choices I was making.” She added, “As much as I definitely don’t want to spend the rest of my life talking about this, I am really proud that I can say I feel the strongest I’ve ever felt and I’ve found a way to just walk through it with as much grace as possible.” In the meantime, Justin's fans are not happy with him, but it has nothing to do with Selena. It seems Justin has been growing a mustache, and his fans are not fans of it. They've even nicknamed it the “Justache,” calling for him to shave it off.

Kobe Bryant flew by helicopter frequently so he could avoid Los Angeles traffic. As he told Alex Rodriguez a while back, “I had to figure out a way where I could still train and focus on the craft but still not compromise family time.” His chopper could get him where he needed to be in 15 minutes. But according to a source, Kobe had a deal with his wife, Vanessa, that they would never fly on a helicopter together. Sadly, the reason why was confirmed in the crash that took his life and his 13-year-old daughter. Speaking of Gianna, Kobe had big plans for “Gigi.” He had filed a trademark for her nickname, “Mambacita,” on December 30th. According to the paperwork, he intended to use the name on athletic apparel and more. Meanwhile, the investigation into what caused Kobe’s helicopter to go down is ongoing. At this point, the experts believe that the crash was a “weather-caused accident," according to People.

Disney is ready to crank out more live-action versions of their animated classics. The studio has announced remakes of “Pinocchio” and “Bambi.” “Pinocchio” would be live-action, while “Bambi” would be “photoreal” like the “Lion King” remake.

Lewis Capaldi’s hit “Someone You Loved” was nominated for Song of the Year at the GRAMMYs Sunday, but apparently his face is still not as recognizable as his voice to a lot of people, and that made for an embarrassing moment during the show. Lewis posted on social media to share that someone actually thought he was a seat filler during the ceremony. He tweeted, “A lady at the grammys has just come up and offered to take my seat because she thought I was one of the people who sits in the chairs to fill them when someone gets up to use the bathroom,” adding some laughing/crying face emojis. Lewis certainly seemed to be enjoying himself at the big show - he even shared a picture of himself from inside the bathroom, captioning it, “#GRAMMYs BABY!!!” Hopefully, he got his seat back after he was done in the bathroom.

Kobe Bryant was one of the names being tossed around for Hall of Fame honors this year, but now it's been decided, he will have the honor bestowed upon him posthumously, according to TMZ. Although the final list of players who will be inducted into the 2020 class of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame has yet to be revealed, Kobe, who was announced as a nominee in December 2019 — will be among the players honored, according to chairman Jerry Colangelo. Jerry added, “Ironically, I have a meeting in Dallas on Wednesday with the committee to go through the candidates [but] obviously, the result of whatever names come out of that, he was going to be a first-ballot guy. There’s no doubt in my mind. He’s going to be honored. He’s going into the Hall of Fame." He also said that this is "expected to be arguably the most epic class ever with Kobe, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett,” and added, "Kobe will be honored the way he should be.” Finalists will be honored during the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend in February, and the list of inductees will be announced in April, during the NCAA’s Final Four tournament with the ceremony taking place August 29 here in Springfield.
The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team honored Kobe Bryant's 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who died with him in the helicopter crash. At their game Monday night, a seat was reserved on the team bench for Gianna, who had her sights set on becoming a UConn player herself, according to TMZ. UConn created a special Huskies jersey with Gianna’s #2 emblazoned on the front and laid it across a chair next to a bouquet of white roses and daisies tied with a blue bow. They posted a picture on social media and wrote alongside the photo, “Mambacita is forever a Husky.”

Joe Guidice seems to be getting over Teresa Giudice pretty well since he was spotted partying with some women in bikinis in Mexico, according to AceShowbiz. Hours after a video of him partying with women surfaced online, Joe posted a public apology on Twitter, writing, "I have learned about the bravery it takes to be in [the] public eye and how videos or comments can be insensitive and stupid, and I am deeply sorry for that." He added, "Though, I am on a family trip with my uncle and friends! Girls were trying to dance with me at a hotel. I gave permission for individuals to dance close to me in which I'm sorry for my girls that witnessed it. My girls deserve me full time though I am not to be shamed for talking to humans. Sincerely, Joe #tmx #lovemy girls #brave #standup." When one person commented that he's still technically married, Joe replied, "yes I'm very faithful and going to wait." Teresa liked the post before he decided to take it down.

Madonna has canceled yet another date of her “Madame X” tour. The latest cancelation is her show that was supposed to happen last night in London. She shared, “I am deeply sorry that I have to cancel my concert scheduled for Monday January 27th in London. Under doctors guidance I have been told to rest for a few days. As you all know, I have injuries that have plagued me since the beginning of the tour but I must always listen to my body and put my health first.” She added, “The last thing I want to do is disappoint my fans or compromise the integrity of my show. So I will keep going until I cannot…Again I am deeply sorry to disappoint anyone and please know that it hurts me more than you can imagine to have to cancel any shows.“ This is the ninth show Madonna has canceled due to her bad knee. Can't she just perform sitting on a comfy couch rather than let her fans down?

There are lots of people on social media who believe Britney Spears is being controlled by her father and her conservatorship, and it looks like Cher may be one of them. Cher responded on Twitter to an “LA Mag” article about the #FreeBritney movement and seems to be on their side. She shared, “POSSIBLE ...JUST ENOUGH MEDS TO KEEP HER WORKING, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO HAVE A LIFE.”

People are remembering Kobe Bryant for his kindness, and now stories are coming out about how far his kindness extended. On December 13, 2019, Kobe was spotted helping victims of a car crash in Newport Beach, California, according to TMZ Sports. He even helped direct traffic before police came. And similarly, he did the same thing the year before, also in the Newport Beach area. Ryan Williams, who was involved in the 2018 incident, wrote on Twitter, “Kobe witnessed someone crash into me at 65mph. He ran to my car. He helped. Most of all, he was kind. A week later, he saw me and my family at Starbucks. He told my wife how lucky I was to be alive. From that time on, whenever we’d see him in Newport Coast, he continued to be kind, a fist bump to my son … a high-five to my daughter … a word of wisdom to me.”

Criss Angel‘s 5 1/2-year-old son, Johnny Crisstopher, is back home following his latest round of chemotherapy. Criss explained, “Johnny Crisstopher did over 6 liters of chemo in 36 hours and was expected to be in the hospital until Friday. In the middle of the night he was very upset and said ‘I don’t want to be here. I want to go home.’" But, they got to take him home a couple days early, and Criss added, “I knew it was going to be alright. I even said to @shaunylbenson watch I know we are going to have a miracle – just watch, our prayers were answered.”

As Meghan and Harry lose their HRH titles, Prince William has been given a new title by Queen Elizabeth II. He’s been appointed to Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, according to the Palace. Usually, the person with the title is of Scottish descent, but members of the royal family have served before. William will have to “maintain the relationship between the State and the Church,” but he’ll continue to carry out his duties as the Duke of Cambridge, too. I guess we know who Queen grandma's favorite is....
