Rachel Bloom can find humor in almost any situation – including labor. The “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” revealed during her appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” this week that she broke into song while giving birth to her daughter back in March. More specifically, she sang along to the theme from the 1996 flick “Space Jam.”

Jamie Lee Curtis was able to fulfill a die-hard "Halloween" fan's final wish. “MSN” reports that she officiated the wedding of Anthony Woodle, who had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2019, less than an hour before he passed in September. Woodle, an aspiring director, contacted Rough House Productions, the South Carolina house that is reviving the Halloween franchise.

Through the production company, Woodle was connected with Curtis who offered to officiate his wedding. Anthony was in the process of dying when the bedside ceremony ,which Curtis was on the phone for, happened. The actress said “We live and we love in this moment. May the blessings of God rest upon you, may his peace abide with you, may her spirit illuminate your heart now, in this moment. With the power vested in me by the internet, it is my great pleasure to tell you that you are now married people.”

Woodle and his bride Emilee were the first outsiders to watch the upcoming thriller “Halloween Kills,” thanks to director David Gordon Green who set up the private screening.

Matthew McConaughey tells “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that he may run for a political office. "I don’t know. I mean, that wouldn’t be up to me. It would be up to the people more than it would me. I would say this: Look, politics seems to be a broken business to me right now. And when politics redefines its purpose, I could be a hell of a lot more interested. I want to get behind personal values to rebind our social contracts with each other as Americans, as people again."

“Hollywoodlife.com” says Kanye West is already planning to run for president in 2024. A source tells the website, “Kanye will be involved in the election in 2024, he wants to be all over it. He thinks that Kim would be an amazing first lady and now that they have four years to figure it out, Kanye is going to make sure he is ready for the run. He is taking it seriously even if others think it is a joke. It is his next dream to become a reality. He is going full force into all of that and will be figuring it out the next few years.”

A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Naya Rivera’s son. Josey’s dad, Ryan Dorsey, and the late actress’ estate are suing Ventura County, California; the United Water Conservation District, and the county’s Parks and Recreation Management for wrongful death and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

“Us Weekly” says the premise is that the “Glee” star’s death was preventable and that the boat she and Josey rented on Lake Piru didn’t comply with the US Coast Guard’s safety standards. “[The boat] was not equipped with a safely accessible ladder, adequate rope, an anchor, a radio or any security mechanisms to prevent swimmers from being separated from their boats,” the court documents claim. “Disturbingly, later inspection revealed that the boat was not even equipped with any flotation or life saving devices, in direct violation of California law, which requires that all pontoons longer than 16 feet be equipped with flotation devices.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been making tons of virtual appearances for good causes since they touched down in the United States. But for Remembrance Week, Harry ventured out of their Montecito enclave to support the veteran community.

A rep for Harry tells “Harper’s Bazaar” that Harry was volunteering in Compton last week, helping out The Mission Continues Service Platoons alongside fellow veterans. The Los Angeles-based organization connects vets wanting to continue their service with local members to help transform their communities.

Together with volunteers from Compton Veterans and The Walker Family Events Foundation, Harry helped pack and distribute meals for locals for the weekly Operation Nourish program. Taking to Instagram, a volunteer from the organization thanked Harry for the help, saying he was “very humble and kind.”

Jason Momoa is more than just an action star. He opened up about his life in the latest issue of “Men’s Health.”

On social justice: “I think things needed to change. There are so many massive issues happening that can’t be tolerated anymore, and I’m absolutely behind them,” Jason said. “I’m looking forward to not going back to normal. I do believe we’ve hit a tipping point. We just need to keep fighting for it. For me, I’ve been on the forefront of trying to do a lot of things with climate change and environmental issues, and that’s all part of this, too. That’s kind of gone by the wayside for some people, but it hasn’t for me.”

On being “a mess” when he met his wife, Lisa Bonet: “Especially when you meet someone you’re completely infatuated with and then find out she’s amazing, intelligent, and funny and she’s a goddess and you’re a degenerate…” His advice to guys looking to date out of their league – “Be you. Try to be funny and make her laugh.”

On the prospect of his 13-year-old daughter dating: “I’m not going to do well with it,” he revealed. “I’ll just hate it if she brings home some dips--- bad boy.” His hope is that she’ll find someone as devoted to her as he is to her mom. “I’m like, ‘If you find a man who treats you better than I [treat Bonet], good luck!’”

Angelina Jolie has lost her bid to get the judge tossed off her and Brad Pitt’s divorce case. As we told you, she wanted Judge John W Ouderkirk removed because he officiated their 2014 wedding. The way she sees it, he promised to disclose any conflicts of interest – something her camp says he “utterly failed” to do. He’s accused of repeatedly failing to disclose his ongoing and “growing” relationships with Brad’s lawyers.

“People” says the Superior Court of California in Orange County didn’t see it Angelina’s way. In addition to keeping Ouderkirk on the case, the ruling also says that her bid to remove him was “untimely” because she knew about his appointment for over two years.

Brad’s legal team claimed that the move was “a thinly-veiled attempt by Jolie to delay the adjudication of long-pending custody issues in this case.”

Lizzo has taken to her TikTok page to let everyone know that being famous isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. According to the singer, money really can’t buy you happiness. “Fame only puts a magnifying glass on the crap that you already have. If that crap is messed up, you’re just going to have even more magnified crap situations.” And it’s made worse because she feels like because she’s a star, that she shouldn’t be feeling that way, like bad days mean she’s ungrateful. She then shifted her focus to her fans to let them know “anyone who has internal issues or has like any type of self problems that they need to work out, work out now because money, fame, or success or even getting older doesn’t really fix that s***.”

Rebel Wilson is opening up about her “year of health.” As we’ve previously reported, the actress has lost around 40 pounds so far, but she’s not focused on the number on her scale. For the “Pitch Perfect” star, it’s all about “self-worth and self-love.”

Speaking to “People” magazine, Rebel says her “year of health” has been a test in becoming a “healthier person,” changing her unhealthy habits and mindset. The star admits she was doing “unhealthy things” to her body, like “emotional eating,” because she wasn’t “loving [herself] enough.”

But Rebel’s “year of health” doesn’t include a super strict diet, she even still gets to eat dessert and fast food. Working with her nutritionist, Rebel says “nothing is forbidden,” it’s just about achieving an “overall healthy balance.”

“I would say to everyone out there don't be obsessed about how much you actually weigh,” she adds. “It's more about all the healthy practices, and then the changes to your whole lifestyle.”

Michael J.Fox tells the “Los Angeles Times” that he is retiring from acting again due to his declining health. “There is a time for everything, and my time of putting in a twelve-hour workday, and memorizing seven pages of dialogue, is best behind me...At least for now ... I am entering my second retirement. That could change, because everything changes. But if this is the end of my acting career, so be it.”
